For the Dometic Struts there are two ways. The easiest way is to just measure the strut.

The most common strut is 28-3/4"

If for some reason you can not measure the strut but can measure the Metal Arm
(Which is the part attached to the unit only) and it measures 65.5" then your need the 28-3/4" strut.

If the metal arm (Which is the part attached to the unit only)

This Next Strut is for the 9100 Power Awning. When fully extended it measures 27-3/4 inch
The best way to tell the "9100 Power" from the "Weather Pro" awning is the
Power awning does not have a weather control and sensor.
